  • 30g plain flour
  • 100g egg-white
  • 40g melted butter
  • 150g sliced almonds
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 100g sugar
  • ½ tsp Vanilla

Steps making Banh hanh nhan recipe:

Step 1:

Turn on microwave oven for 15 minutes to stabilize the temperature before putting butter into microwave oven for 30 seconds to make butter melted.

After butter melting, Take butter out and let it cool.

Step 2:

Filter egg-white through a strainer to get the smooth egg-white liquid. Add egg-white liquid, sugar and salt into a bowl. Whisk the mixture to until white foams appear.

Add plain flour into the mixture, using a whisk to wish the mixture to turn smooth.

Add melted butter into the mixture and whisk well until it is smooth.

Prepare a baking tray, spray a cooking oil layer or spread some butter on the surface of parchment paper to take the cake easily after baking.

The fastest way is place the Almond Tuiles into a Baguette baking tray or any tools with a curvature such as rolling pin or a glass. When it gets cold, it will be crispy and has beautiful shape.

  • It depends on the taste, you can reduce sugar.
