Noodles are a very popular and convenient food of Vietnamese people, noodles are often used in fast and simple meals and are one of the choices for Vietnamese breakfast. From simple noodles, we can process many different types of noodles such as boiled noodles, fried noodles, and mixed noodles; and it is impossible not to mention dry noodles. Dry noodles are simple but often served with expensive dishes such as beef, shrimp, squid, grilled pork, and egg omelet … and one option that cannot be missed is char siu meat. Char siu meat noodles consisting of chewy noodlesand delicious char siu mixed with rich sauce certainly bring an attractive flavor for diners.

The recipe of char siu noodles is simple and easy-making, the most important step you need to pay attention to is marinating delicious meat. Let’s discover the secret of making tasty and fatty char siu meat noodles below.




1. Ingredients

  • 1 piece of pork tenderloin
  • 500 gram of pork bone
  • 200 gram ground meat (optional)
  • 1 packet of egg noodles, bean sprouts, vegetables
  • Spices: Five-spice flavor, oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey, cashew oil, seasoning, pepper

2. How to make dry noodles with char siu meat

Step 1:

Wash pork tenderloin, use a paper towel to dry meat.

Sauces: ½ spoon of five-spice flavor, ½ teaspoon of pepper, ½ spoon of cashew oil, 1 spoon of sugar, 2 spoons of soy sauce, 1 spoon of seasoning powder, 1 spoon of oyster sauce, 2 spoons of honey, mix together.

Marinate meat with spices, wait for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2:

Wash the pork bones, put the pot on the cooker and simmer the bones to make the sweet broth. Marinate ground meat with seasonings, pepper and stir-fry, ladle out.

Step 3:

After marinating meat, you put a pan on the cooker and add 2 spoons of cooking oil. Fry the meat evenly in both sides over medium heat, then add the sauce and a cup of water to simmer.

When the sauce turns into paste, add spices. Check the meat once again before turn off the cooker.

Step 4:

Wash lettuce, blanch egg noodles and drain them.

Put the noodles into a bowl, add sliced char siu meat, ground meat, sliced onions and the bone broth.

You can use the meat sauce mixed with soy sauce and spread over the noodles.
