Nui is a strange word for Vietnamese people, but when it is called Pasta, Vietnamese people will feel closer and more familiar.
Pasta shape is different from long Vietnamese noodles, and it has various shapes. Pasta can be circular, twisted or twisted with many different colors. The main materials for making pasta are water, flour, and eggs. Flour is mixed with water and kneaded evenly. You can use a mold to shape a paste, it depends on you. 1. Ingredients for making Nui xao bo recipe:
- Pasta 200 gr
- Beef 300 gr
- Bell peppers 200 gr (green and red)
- Onions 50 gr
- Celery 20 gr
- Chili sauce 6 tablespoons
- Ketchup 6 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce 3 tablespoons
- Soy sauce 2 tbsp
- 4 tbsp white sugar
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- 1/3 teaspoon of pepper
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- Minced garlic 15 gr
2. Nui xao bo recipe
Step 1:
Boil a pot of water, add 200gr pasta, add ½ tsp of salt, boil for 10-12 minutes.
Ladle pasta out, wash over cold water, drain it. The pasta is chewy and has natural egg color.
Spread a tbsp of cooking oil and mix them not to stick together.
Step 2:
The sauce for beef consists of 80gr ketchup, 80gr chili sauce, 60gr white sugar, 40gr oyster sauce, 30ml soy sauce.
Step 3:
Cut beef into small square pieces, marinate it with 15gr minced garlic, 1/3 teaspoon salt and 1/3 teaspoon pepper for 15 minutes.
Step 4:
Boil 2 tbsp of cooking oil.
Stir-fry 100gr green pepper, 100gr red pepper and 50gr onions. Then add 50ml water, stir-fry until it turns into rich color, ladle them out. Next, stir-fry beef, peppers and the sauce at the same time.
Step 5:
Stir-fry for 2 minutes to make a well-mixed beef and vegetables, then add 20gr sliced celery, stir well and turn off the cooker. Ladle the beef out and enjoy.
